About the Product
WhatsApp is how Indian subscribers actually communicate — not email, not SMS. INIC built its WhatsApp API Server to replace inefficient manual communication workflows in its own ISP operations: renewal reminders were sent manually, field dispatch was done through personal WhatsApp groups, and there was no reliable way to notify subscribers about outages.
The API server integrates directly with the WhatsApp Business Platform, handling authentication, template management, message queuing, delivery tracking, and webhook routing. It exposes a simple REST API that your billing system, CRM, or NOC software can call with a single HTTP request.
We run this server in production for Instalinks today. It sends thousands of messages per month — from renewal reminders to outage notifications to field engineer dispatches. We are now making it available to other ISPs and enterprises who need reliable, programmatic WhatsApp communication.

Do I need a Meta Business Account?
Yes. To use the WhatsApp Business Platform (officially), you need a Meta Business Account with a verified business phone number. INIC's API server handles the technical integration, but the Meta business account and number registration is done by you as the business operator.
Can I send bulk notifications to customers?
Yes. INIC's WhatsApp API Server supports bulk messaging with built-in rate limiting. You can send renewal reminders, outage notifications, and offer announcements to subscriber lists. All bulk messages must use pre-approved WhatsApp message templates.
Does it support two-way messaging?
Yes. Incoming messages from customers are received via webhook and can be routed to your support team or CRM. You can build two-way support workflows — customers can reply to notifications and your team can respond — all through WhatsApp.
What is the message delivery rate?
Message delivery rates depend on the recipient's WhatsApp status and Meta's platform conditions. INIC's API server includes delivery tracking with read receipt monitoring and automatic retry logic. In INIC's own ISP operations, we observe delivery rates above 95% for valid active numbers.
How is it different from using WhatsApp directly?
WhatsApp directly does not offer an API for programmatic messaging. INIC's server uses the official WhatsApp Business Platform API, enabling automated sends from your billing system or NOC via a simple REST API — no manual sending, no BSP middleman, no per-message fees to a third party.
